The largest 2-wheels event was really expected and finally, Tuesday 6h November, EICMA has opened the gates. Everyone searching the brands revelations and there they were.
On Triumph booth all eyes were on the new Scrambler 1200, that was launched a few days ago, but also in the announcement of the two limited versions of Bonneville T120, Ace and Diamond Edition, created for the 60th Birthday of Triumph Bonneville.
For 2019 will be the new version of Triumph TFT Connectivity System, that is not going to be available only for the new models of Triumph, but also for the old ones that already have the TFT device, going to an official and authorized Triumph dealer.
Triumph Scrambler 1200
The two version of the new Scrambler 1200, base XC and the top-of-the-line XE version, were designed following the lines of the Street Scrambler. Both of them are equipped with full-digital multifunction single-pod instrument cluster that’s compatible with a GoPro control system. The Modern TFT instrument panel have a list of more than 80 options.
Both models have a powerful engine, 1200cc 8-valve parallel twin liquid-cooled which churns out 90PS at 7400rpm and 110Nm at 3950rpm. With the XC you get five riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, Off-Road and Rider-Configurable; and the XE have one extra: the Offroad Pro.
Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace
Paying tribute to the Ace Cafe in London is based on the Bonneville T120 Black, which has the style inspired on the historical Bonneville 1959, and will be only 1200 produced worldwide, numbered and certificate signed by Nick Bloor, Triumph Motorcycles, and Mark Wilsmore, Ace Cafe. Will be recognized by a unique color, Matt Storm Grey with contrasting striping on the tank and Ace Cafe graphics.
The engine is the same 1200cc high-torque 8-valve Twin as its Bonneville T120 brethren. Triumph claims a peak torque of 77.4 lb-ft. at 3100 rpm. Four-bar Triumph tank badges, KYB suspension, and Nissin brakes with ABS are other features in this motorcycle.
Triumph Bonneville T120 Diamond
The Diamond Edition, limited in 800 units to be produced, is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the original Bonneville T120. This version will have a numbered certificate signed by Nick Bloor, Chief Executive Officer of Triumph Motorcycles.
The Triumph Bonneville T120 Diamond Edition will have an exclusive color “Snowdonia White” with ‘Union Flag’ motif design on the fuel tank colored by “Aluminium Silver”.
The engine and other technical characteristics will be based on the Bonneville T120 Black, the same that is for the Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace, only difference will be the 80CV propulsor.
